Job Description
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in Dr. Yi Huang’s lab at the Department of Internal Medicine and Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, Carver College of Medicine, University of Iowa. This position will focus on the epigenetic roles of histone modifications in breast cancer development and therapeutic response, with the goal of uncovering novel mechanisms that drive tumorigenesis and contribute to therapeutic resistance. Dr. Huang's lab is NIH-funded and has extensive expertise in breast cancer biology, employing a wide range of experimental techniques, including genomic and epigenomic analyses, in vivo animal models, and high-throughput screening, to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying breast cancer progression and treatment resistance. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. in Biomedical Sciences, with a strong research background and a proven publication record in cancer research and anticancer drug development. A solid foundation in molecular biology and cancer pharmacology is required, with proficiency in techniques such as cell culture, molecular biology, and animal models.
