Position description
Mihaela Balu, Ph.D., has an opening for a post-doctoral position to work on an exciting project on the development of instrumentation based on multiphoton microscopy for pre-clinical and clinical applications in the Nonlinear Optical Microscopy (NLOM) Lab at the Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic, University of California, Irvine (UCI). Candidate should possess the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting.
These positions require a Ph.D. in Physics, Optics, Chemistry, or a related Engineering field, or an M.D., or the foreign equivalent.
Preference will be given to candidates that have experience with nonlinear optical microscopy and/or other imaging techniques.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
