Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Venuprasad Poojary in the Department of Internal Medicine and Immunology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. Our lab studies cancer immunology and inflammation in mouse models (Singh A et al. Nat. Commun (In press), 2023; Kathania M et al. Cell Reports, 2022; Kumar R et al., Trends in Immunol, 2022; Thiess et al., Cell Reports, 2022; Mukherjee S et al. Nat. Immunol, 2021; Singh AK et al. Nat. Commun, 2021; Kathania M et al., Nat. Immunol, 2016, etc.). Our goal is to identify key regulatory mechanisms in the immune cells that regulate inflammation and to target these pathways. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in any branch of biological sciences. Experience in cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cancer biology, and immunology leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.
