A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dario Bonanomi at San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan to study development and degeneration of motor neurons of the spinal cord that are affected in ALS. We are pursuing a multidisciplinary research project that examines the cross-talk between nerves and vasculature in physiological and pathological settings using mouse genetics, cellular models, and advanced genomic/proteomic techniques.
We are seeking highly motivated, interactive and creative individuals with a PhD and proven track record of research and publications in a relevant area of biological sciences (e.g., neurobiology, developmental neuroscience, vascular biology). We invite applications from candidates with strong background in cell and molecular biology, endothelial cell biology, iPSC disease modeling. Previous experience in bioinformatics is a plus.
This is an excellent opportunity for talented and enthusiastic individuals to perform cutting edge research at the intersection of basic and translational neuroscience.
