A two-year RESEARCH POST-DOCTORAL POSITION is now open in our Bioprocess Development Group, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will work amongst a dynamic group of microbiologists and geneticists supporting strain development for production of fine chemicals. This position requires broad lab-based experience with modern genetic and metabolic engineering of microbial strains. Hiring, employment and salary administration will be through a staffing agency, rather than through Pfizer. Annual salary ranges from $55-60K, depending on experience. The position requires a PhD with recent research experience in applied molecular biology of prokaryotes. Skills in bioinformatics, synthetic biology or yeast genetics would strengthen the application. We encourage U.S. citizens and non-US citizens with a working permit to apply.
