The Department of Physics at the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia´s top ranked University, is seeking postdoctoral applicants to join one of our research groups. Our department has 6 very active research groups and an international atmosphere (more than 20% of professors) as well as significant interdisciplinary research projects and international collaborations.
A doctoral degree and a minimum of three indexed publications are required. Responsibilities include a light teaching load of one course per year. Working knowledge of Spanish is desirable but not a requirement. Position is available in the fall of 2015. The initial appointment is for one year with a possibility of extension for one more year.
