A two-year post-doctoral position is available in the Cancer Research Center of Roseman University College of Medicine to work on projects related to horizontal transmission of information in cancer, namely cancer exosomes, cell protrusions and cell-cell fusion. Dr. Lorico’s lab is especially focused on their role in the metastatic process of breast cancer and melanoma. Salary will be commensurate to experience. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for cell imaging, including confocal, TIRF and CARS microscopes and for exosome research. The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in Biological Sciences from a recognized institution and previous knowledge/experience in the fields related to this job description. A strong interest for cancer research is desired. Manuscript writing, grant/fellowship applications, presentation of research findings at scientific meetings, and excellent knowledge of the English language will be required.
