Applications are invited for a postdoctoral associate to work in the Soft Matter Theory group of the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides (University
Paris-Sud 11) in Orsay, France on a research project funded by the Labex PALM for a period of up to 2 years. The project focuses on computer
simulation and/or density functional theory of liquid crystals and other soft matter systems. Successful candidates should have a PhD in Condensed Matter Physics, Computational or Physical Chemistry or a relevant subject area. Experience with numerical simulation and computer
programming is strongly desired.
The position is expected to be available between May and November 2014. Review of applications will continue until the position has been filled.
