The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology is looking for a full-time Post Doctoral Associate to work on a research project to investigate serological biomarkers in patient blood for diseases with autoantibody response. A new technology will be used to globally map and quantify autoantibody signatures in the blood of patients and healthy controls for identification of disease-associated autoantigens. Identified autoantigens and their autoantibodies will be independently validated and used to develop multivariate diagnosis models for disease prediction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications are as follows: MD and/or PhD with extensive background in molecular biology, cell biology and protein biochemistry. Any appropriate combination of education, certifications, and/or relevant work experience may be considered.
