Postdoctoral positions are available immediately in Dr Melissa Fullwood’s lab for M.D. and/or Ph.D. with experience in Genomics (next-generation sequencing) in the Fullwood Lab.
The focus of the lab is on understanding human transcriptomes and transcriptome regulation, particularly in the context of gastric cancer

We are seeking highly motivated Ph.D. or M.D graduates with backgrounds in biological sciences, genomics, or other related fields who are interested in developing new methods for chromatin interaction analysis in the context of cancer. The successful candidate will help to design experiments, conduct experiments, analyse data, write papers, write grants, and compete for fellowships. Candidates are required to have an understanding of genomics, molecular biology and cell biology, a proven track record in the form of publications in top English language journals, and the ability to communicate in written and spoken English. Any experience in bioinformatics and epigenomics, particularly chromatin interaction methodologies (Chromosome Conformation Capture; Fluorescence in-situ Hybridization) will be valued.
