Seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow, with an MD and / or PhD, to join a growing, dynamic laboratory exploring mechanisms of skin cancer development and treatment. We are undertaking several projects centered on (1) the genomics (microRNA, gene expression changes, mutations) of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) progression; (2) targeted therapies for melanoma and their effects on stress activated MAPK signaling; (3) development of new technologies to interrogate skin in-vivo. Successful candidates will have a strong background in molecular biology, experience with mouse models, genomics, and, especially important, bioinformatics experience. Productive collaborative interactions with other members of the laboratory are an important part of how we work.
