Job Details
Purpose and Main Duties
The Institute of Structural Molecular Biology (ISMB) is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher (Level 2) to work in the laboratory of Dr. Cara Vaughan. The aim of the project is to assemble Hsp90 cochaperone and client complexes and determine their structure using both protein crystallography and electron microscopy.

Candidate Requirements
Applicants should have a PhD in Structural Molecular Biology with experience in protein crystallography or single particle electron microscopy. Experience of eukaryotic multi-protein complex expression and purification and relevant research publications will be an advantage. Applicants should have skills in biochemical, biophysical and structural biology methods, with effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write up complex research findings.

Salary: Grade 7, £31,331 per annum, plus the London Allowance of £2,976 per annum.

This is a full-time position, fixed term for up to two years and five months and is funded by the BBSRC. The appointment is subject to a probationary period of six months.
