We are looking for a suitably motivated Post-doctoral Scientist, with Molecular AND Bioinformatics’ experience, to work within the BIOCEV (The Center of Biomedical Research)
EU-funded, possibility to proceed research in the new biotechnological and biomedical research centre BIOCEV in Prague (see http://www.biocev.eu/). The position also includes teaching of undergraduate students.
General conditions for the applicants:
Duration: starting January 1st , 2014 – till December 31, 2015
Salary: 40 000 CZK per month, startup money to cover consumables and travel money for conferences. The salary may be increased by additional bonuses based on publication activity.
Requirements:
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher to work on molecular structure-function relationships of sperm/egg receptors. The successful applicant should have PhD from molecular biology, biochemistry or development biology, and should be experienced in molecular biology, or biochemical methods used in the laboratory. In addition to conduct a research, the applicant will guide methodological courses on “Molecular methods” for graduate students. Contact dr. Pavel Stopka (pstopka@natur.cuni.cz).
