Essential Functions
Two postdoctoral positions are immediately available for two highly motivated researchers to participate in projects focusing on applications of synthetic biology approaches to a unicellular cyanobacterium to understand the mechanisms of its redox processes and light capture functions.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. required. Applicants should have (1) Experimental Experience in Microbial Molecular Biology and/or Photosynthesis, and (2) Experience in Computational Analysis of Genome-scale data.
Salary Range
Commensurate with education and experience.
Department Summary
The appointments will be in the research group of Himadri Pakrasi in the Departments of Biology, and Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering (http://pages.wustl.edu/photo.synth.bio) at Washington University in St. Louis.
