Job Description
The
●Mathematical Glaciology
●Mathematical Elasticity
●Mathematical Biology
The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or any closely related field. Any experience and skills in the following areas are strongly preferred:
●Partial Differential Equations;
●Mathematical Modelling;
●Numerical Analysis with excellent programming skills in Python. Prior exposure to HPC is a plus;
●Fluency in spoken and written English.
The initial appointment will be for two years, renewable for an additional year upon successful performance.
The position comes without teaching duties.
The earliest starting date for this position is January 2025.
Applicants should have:
1. Ph.D. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics;
2. Programming skills in Python;
3. Fluency in spoken and written English.
Job Duties include:
1. Working on the tasks assigned by the PI;
2. Promote the activity of the group by attending meetings and conferences.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will be provided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland
